In short
Choose Layla if you want the AI to plan and book the trip: flights, hotels, trains and activities with live prices, multi-city routes and optional human travel advisors. Since July 2026 Layla belongs to Expedia Group.
Choose Plantripr if you want a detailed plan of your days and the tools around it (directions, budget with bill splitting, calendar, packing list, tips, sharing, exports), from an independent planner that doesn't sell bookings.

Where Plantripr shines
- The days themselves: real places with opening hours, grouped by area, with walking times, transit directions and where to eat.
- The tools around them: budget with bill splitting, calendar, packing list, visa and safety tips, planning with friends, exports.
- Independent, and we don't sell bookings: the plan is the product. Pay per trip or subscribe, prices stated up front.
