Legal & Terms of Service

Terms of Service

Effective 9 October 2026 · Version 2026.4

1. Who we are and these Terms

1.1 Plantripr is an online service operated from London, United Kingdom ("Plantripr", "we", "us"). Email: support@plantripr.com.

1.2 These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy (which includes how we use cookies), govern your use of plantripr.com and our AI itinerary services. Please read them before you buy. If you don't agree, please don't use Plantripr.

1.3 If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your legal rights. In the UK these include your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013; in the EU, the rights given by the law of the country where you live.

2. Eligibility and your account

2.1 You must be at least 18 to create an account or buy anything from us. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we'll close it and refund any unused purchased credits and prepaid subscription time.

2.2 Please keep your login details secure, give us accurate details, and tell us at support@plantripr.com if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity on your account unless it results from our failure to keep it secure.

3. What Plantripr is (and isn't)

3.1 Plantripr is a software platform that uses artificial intelligence to suggest travel itineraries. We are not a travel agent, tour operator, carrier or accommodation provider, and we do not sell package holidays or linked travel arrangements under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 or Directive (EU) 2015/2302. We do not hold ATOL, ABTA or IATA licences.

3.2 We do not issue tickets or make bookings, and we never hold money intended for travel suppliers. All bookings are made directly with third-party providers on their own websites.

4. AI-generated itineraries: please check before you book

4.1 Itineraries, schedules, routes, chat answers and suggestions are produced by generative AI, including Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude models. AI can make mistakes: it may suggest places that have closed, give wrong opening hours, prices or transport links, or out-of-date safety or entry information. Plantripr does not provide weather forecasts. Places, events and tours that Tripr AI shows as cards come from Google, Ticketmaster and Viator; trends come from websites it names. We don't check them, and prices, opening times and availability can change.

4.2 Before you book or travel, please check important details with official sources, such as government travel advice, entry and visa requirements, health guidance, venue websites and transport operators.

4.3 We design and maintain Plantripr with reasonable care and skill, and we'll fix faults in our service (see clause 10). But we can't guarantee that AI suggestions are complete or accurate, and we are not responsible for losses caused by relying on a suggestion that you could reasonably have checked, such as a booking you make with a third party.

6. Plans, allowances and credits

The currency depends on where you are: pounds in the UK, euros in the EU, EEA and Switzerland, US dollars elsewhere. Once you have bought something, your account keeps that currency. The price shown at checkout is the total you pay. Allowances reset at the start of each calendar month and do not roll over.

6.2 What credits buy.

(a) An extra AI itinerary costs 100 credits. That trip gets the full Premium planner (up to 15 days and all tools) for that trip only. If you delete it, it's gone.

(b) Tripr AI includes free messages and searches every day, reset at midnight UTC: guests get 10 messages (searches need a free account); the Free plan 20 messages and 1 search (places or near me); Premium and the free trial 100 messages and 15 searches (places, near me or trending). Searches for events and tours don't use them and never cost credits. When they are used up, signed-in users can carry on with credits, and every paid action has its own button that shows the price before anything is taken: a message costs 1 credit; a search costs 5 credits; reading a booking you share costs 1 message or 1 credit; rebuilding a day of a trip planned in the chat is free 3 times per trip, then uses one of the day's searches, then costs 5 credits. If Tripr AI can't answer, a search doesn't run, or a rebuild or booking read fails, the credits are given back automatically.

(c) Unlocking another user's public trip costs 100 credits. Premium and trial members get one free unlock each calendar month. Your unlocked copy gets the full Premium planner for that trip. If you delete your copy, unlocking it again is a new unlock.

Wherever you spend credits we show the approximate value in your currency.

6.3 Types of credit.

(a) Purchased credits (200, 500, 1,200 or 3,250 credits; prices shown on our Pricing page in your currency) never expire while your account is open.

(b) Premium bonus credits (200 a month on monthly plans, 300 a month on annual plans) reset each billing month, do not roll over, and end when Premium ends.

(c) Creator reward credits (100 each time another user unlocks one of your public trips, including free unlocks) are free and expire 30 days after they are added.

6.4 Spending order. When you spend credits we use the free credits that expire soonest first (bonus or creator reward credits), and your purchased credits last. Your balances and expiry dates are shown in AI Credits & Usage.

6.5 Credit rates are fixed for credits you have bought. If we change what credits cost to use, the change will not reduce the value of credits you have already bought: we'll give you 30 days' email notice, and you may ask for a refund of any unused purchased credits at the price you paid.

6.6 Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for money, and can only be used on Plantripr. We will not remove purchased credits except as set out in clauses 9 and 12.

6.7 Prices and VAT. All prices are shown in the currency of your region and include any VAT that applies. If you buy from an EU country, VAT at your country's rate is included in the price shown; the price you pay doesn't change. UK prices include no VAT at present.

7. Free trial

7.1 New users may try Premium free for 3 days, once per person. We don't ask for payment details, and the trial does not turn into a paid plan. When it ends, your account returns to the free plan unless you choose to subscribe. To stop repeat trials we keep limited information, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

8. Payments, renewal and reminders

8.1 Payments are processed by Stripe. Premium is paid in advance and renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. We charge the card on file at the start of each new period.

8.2 Reminders. We'll email annual subscribers about 40 days and about 7 days before each renewal, and monthly subscribers every 6 months, about 7 days before that month's payment. Each reminder gives the amount, the renewal date, the last date to cancel and how to cancel.

8.3 Price changes. We'll email you 30 days before a new price applies to your plan. It applies from your next renewal after that notice. You can cancel before then without paying the new price.

8.4 Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Premium is paused until the payment goes through, and Stripe will email you a link to update your card. Stripe retries the payment for about 7 days. You don't get Premium or bonus credits while the payment is unpaid. If it still fails, your plan ends, your account moves to the free plan and you owe us nothing.

9. Cancelling, withdrawing and refunds

9.1 How to cancel. Cancel at any time using "Cancel contracts here" on our Refunds & Cancellation page (linked in the website footer; no login needed), in Settings → Membership, or by emailing us. You keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for, then move to the free plan. We'll email you straight away confirming the cancellation, when we received it, and when access ends.

9.2 Within 14 days of subscribing (or switching between monthly and annual billing): if you haven't used Premium since you were charged (no Premium itineraries generated and no bonus credits spent), you get a full refund. If you have used Premium, you get a refund for the unused days: price paid × (days remaining ÷ days in the period), and Premium ends straight away. At checkout you asked us to start Premium immediately and acknowledged that you lose your right to cancel once the contract has been fully performed, and that generated content can't be returned.

9.3 Annual plans after renewal. If you cancel within 14 days after an annual renewal payment, we refund the unused days as in clause 9.2 (or in full if you haven't used Premium since renewal). After that you can still cancel at any time: your plan ends at the end of the current month of your plan year, and we refund the remaining whole months at one twelfth of the annual price you paid for each month.

9.4 Credit packs. Within 14 days of buying a pack you can get a full refund if you haven't spent any of its credits, or a refund for the unused credits at that pack's price per credit. At checkout you acknowledged that you lose your right to cancel for credits once you spend them.

9.5 Other payments. Apart from clauses 9.2–9.4, 10 and 12, monthly payments and credits already spent are not refundable.

9.6 Withdrawal button. Within 14 days of a purchase you can also use "Withdraw from contract here" on our Refunds & Cancellation page (linked in the website footer; no login needed): enter your name, email and the purchase, then click "Confirm withdrawal". You can instead email us or use the model form in the Annex, but you don't have to.

9.7 Refund timing. We acknowledge every cancellation or withdrawal by email straight away and pay any refund within 14 days to your original payment method, free of charge.

9.8 Currency of refunds. Refunds are paid in the currency you paid in. Purchases are made on plantripr.com and processed by Stripe; we do not sell through app stores.

10. If something goes wrong

10.1 Plantripr must be as described, of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and provided with reasonable care and skill. If it isn't, contact us and we'll fix it. If we can't fix it within a reasonable time or without significant inconvenience to you, you may be entitled to a price reduction or refund.

10.2 If an AI itinerary or chat message fails because of a problem on our side, the credits or allowance used are returned automatically.

10.3 Inaccuracies in AI suggestions about third-party facts (clause 4) are not in themselves a fault, but if Plantripr regularly fails to do what we describe, that is a fault and clause 10.1 applies.

11. Your content and acceptable use

11.1 You may view, download, print and share itineraries you generate for your own personal, non-commercial travel planning. Our software, design, branding and databases belong to us or our licensors.

11.2 You must not: resell or commercially exploit Plantripr itineraries without our written permission; use bots, scrapers or scripts to extract content or data; try to reverse engineer our systems or extract our prompts; use prompt injection or other abuse to get around usage limits or disrupt the service; or share your account with others.

11.3 If you publish a trip, travel guide, profile or comment, you confirm you have the right to share it and you allow other users to view it, and to unlock published trips, on Plantripr. Don't post anything unlawful, abusive or that infringes other people's rights. We may remove content that breaks these Terms. To report content, use the Report button on a travel guide or email us.

12. Suspension and closing accounts

12.1 You can close your account at any time by emailing support@plantripr.com. It is deactivated straight away and can be restored for 30 days; after that it is deleted or anonymised, as explained in our Privacy Policy. We'll refund unused purchased credits and the unused part of any prepaid annual plan when you close it.

12.2 We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or if required by law. We'll tell you why, unless the law prevents it. We'll refund your unused purchased credits and the unused part of any prepaid subscription, less any amount you owe us (for example, charges we incurred because of a fraudulent payment).

12.3 If we stop providing Plantripr or stop selling credits, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and refund unused purchased credits and the unused part of any prepaid subscription.

13. Our responsibility for loss or damage

13.1 We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. Loss is foreseeable if it was obvious it would happen, or if we both knew it might happen when you entered the contract. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable.

13.2 Plantripr is for personal use. We are not responsible for business losses such as lost profits or business opportunities.

13.3 We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of travel providers or partners, or for bookings you make with them.

13.4 Apart from clause 13.5, our total liability to you for claims about Plantripr is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or £50. This does not prevent you recovering the price you paid where the law gives you that right.

13.5 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including your statutory rights described in clause 10.

14. If you misuse Plantripr

14.1 If you break clause 11.2 deliberately or negligently and this causes us loss (for example a third-party claim or costs of repairing damage to our systems), you are responsible for that loss to the extent it was a foreseeable result of your breach.

15. Changes to Plantripr and to these Terms

15.1 We may change these Terms only for these reasons: to reflect changes in law or regulatory guidance; to reflect changes to our features, prices or payment methods; to improve security or prevent abuse; or to make the Terms clearer.

15.2 For changes that affect you materially, we'll email you at least 30 days before they apply. If you don't accept the change, you may cancel before it applies and we'll refund the unused part of any prepaid subscription and any unused purchased credits. Minor changes that don't disadvantage you may take effect when we publish them.

15.3 We may update Plantripr's features from time to time. If an update significantly reduces what you paid for, clause 15.2 applies.

16. Law, courts and complaints

16.1 These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales or of that country (in the UK, including Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there).

16.2 If you have a complaint, please email support@plantripr.com. We aim to respond within 5 working days.

16.3 If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
